Surprisingly comfortable, well organized pockets

Surprisingly comfortable, well organized pockets (the tiny felt lined one is perfect for EDC and phone lol), and generally attractive design/color.

It's my go to day pack!

Great light-load backpack for urban daytrips

Probably the best light-load backpack I've ever seen or owned for city daytrips. It's built to last and has a ton of useful compartments throughout to keep me organized. After going to Italy with a modest 18L Patagonia pack with two pockets/compartments, I upgraded to the Raven 20 before my wife and I went to Prague for a week of seeing the city. However, I have a couple other sorts of bags that I love for different purposes, and I would not recommend the Raven 20 for hikes or travel in extremely hot climates. Don't get me wrong: this bag is incredible, but make sure you know why you're getting it.

Great for commuters

I think this is the greatest basic laptop/city commuter backpack I've ever had. Since I bought it, I've used it every day on the train for my commute for the past 8 months. This bag is fantastic! There are no major drawbacks for me, and I would strongly recommend it to any other petite city commuter.

Great bag but fading color

This bag is the ideal size for me, and it's precisely what I've been looking for. The compartments are well-designed and the size is ideal for a shorter man. However, I observed significant color loss around the creases and flaps directly out of the box. I believe it is a feature of this bag and the material from which it is made. Having said that, I'm keeping it. But, Fjallraven, I know you can make a bag that doesn't fade as quickly as this one. Will you work on it?

This backpack can handle A LOT

I've owned this backpack for about 9 months, and it's been my go-to bag for work in the construction field and in the office. It has good construction, weight, and compartmentalization, allowing you to carry whatever you need on a daily basis, whether it's a laptop, workout gear, paperwork, water, medicine, or all of the above. One thing to keep in mind is that depending on what you place in the smaller pockets, they will expand internally. This is to keep your overall profile low, but keep in mind that putting cumbersome stuff in your pocket will result in a clunky pocket. I'll be looking forward to more fjallraven items because it does precisely what I need it to do, it looks amazing, and it's very low profile.

4 stars

My Nalgene bottle does not fit well, but this is a wonderful pack.

Well Made But Doesn't Last

So, the backpack is amazing, but this is my second one, and it only seems to last a year. The design is fantastic, with a generous size and well-designed and efficient sections, but after a year or so, both begin to fail. My first bag began to develop holes and loose strings. The holes started to appear on the second one, and the zipper broke. I'd give it a 5 if it weren't for the fact that it's not very sturdy; if I buy it again, I'll have to accept the fact that it will only last a year. To be fair, I do a lot with my bag; city living takes a toll on any backpack, and I fly a lot. Overall, it's a well-designed backpack, but it won't last long.
